Mr. Harsh Jain | President, FIFS | Co-Founder & CEO, Dream11

FIFS aims to create a thriving ecosystem for users & operators by laying guidelines for a common set of practices. As the President of FIFS, Harsh will lead a unified Indian Fantasy Sports industry to work with key stakeholders and policymakers and create a regulatory framework while setting standards of operation to safeguard operator and user interests.

Harsh is also the CEO & Co-Founder of Dream11, India’s Biggest Sports Game with 6 crores+ users. A lifelong Manchester United, Mumbai Indians and Indian Cricket Team fan, Harsh completed his engineering from the University of Pennsylvania and his MBA from Columbia Business School. Bringing together his love for sports, gaming and technology, Harsh pioneered freemium fantasy sports in India in 2012 and is focused on redefining the way Indians engage with sports. Dream11 is the second venture for Harsh, having previously launched and successfully led the acquisition of his social media agency Red Digital.

Mr. Anwar Shirpurwala | CEO, FIFS

Anwar comes with a rich and diverse experience of over 20 years in sales and marketing, government affairs and public policy.
In his last assignment as CEO of MAIT from 2012 to 2019, he has immensely
contributed to the growth and development of the Association and also strived to create vibrant ICT Industry. He transitioned MAIT into a
proactive organization, painstakingly creating value groups to
effectively cater to the needs of the industry. Under his leadership,
MAIT is recognized as one of the foremost think tank on ICT
manufacturing and was actively involved with several States, advising
setting up Electronics manufacturing and related services.

Justice Arjan Kumar Sikri (Retd.) | Ombudsman

Justice Arjan Kumar Sikri is an eminent jurist and a former Judge of the Supreme Court of India. Justice Sikri’s remarkable tenure of around 6 years ends as a Supreme Court Judge in March 2019. Prior to that, he served as the Chief Justice of the Punjab and Haryana High Court.

With an excellent academic record, he stood third in the merit list in Higher Secondary from CBSE, Delhi, following which he completed his B.Com (Hons.) from Shriram College of Commerce, Delhi University in the year 1974 and LL.B. from Law Faculty, Delhi University in the year 1977. He was awarded the Gold Medal for attaining first position in LL.B. Has been conferred Doctorate of Laws, Honoris Causa, by Dr Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University, Lucknow, in November 2013.

Mr. John Loffhagen | Member, Advisory Council

John Loffhagen trained and qualified as a lawyer in the City of London where he spent 8 years practising corporate and commercial law. In 1998, John joined IMG in London, becoming the head of legal for EMEA in 2000. Having spent his early years at IMG working on acquisitions/joint ventures in a number of sectors including football and entertainment, John was one of the principal IMG executives involved in the establishment of The Indian Premier League T20 cricket and Indian Super League football tournaments. The role involved preparation of all rules, regulations and the governance structure relating to these events. John currently consults to IMG as regards the IPL and IMG’s India business generally, he has also joined UK law firm Onside Law as a consultant.
As the Chairman of FIFS, amongst other initiatives, John will also work towards creating a standard set of practices for sports gaming operators and other stakeholders while protecting users interests.

Mr. Amrit Mathur | Member, Advisory Council

Amrit Mathur is an Advisor to FIFS (India Federation of Sports Gaming). Amrit has over 30 years of experience in senior management positions across sports federations, authorities, corporate entities, the Government and media. Amrit started his career as Secretary Railway Sports Board in 1988 and was responsible for formulating sports policy in Indian Railways. In 1996 he took up the role of Secretary Sports Authority of India (SAI) Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports and headed a team tasked to implement sports plans & schemes of the Government of India.

Prof. Ratnaker Shetty | Member, Advisory Council

Prof. Shetty was the Chief Administrative Officer of BCCI until recently. He is one of the longest-serving BCCI administrators. He has been active with the Mumbai Cricket Association for several decades. He started in 1990 served as managing committee member until 1994 and worked as tournament secretary during that period. He was elected joint honorary secretary four times and was elected unopposed honorary treasurer in 2005. Later he took over as chief administrative officer of the BCCI and became Indian cricket’s first paid official at the highest level.
